The La Crosse Loggers helped the Madison Mallards to a 15-3 victory in front of 6,515 people at the Duck Pond on Friday night in Madison.

Madison was powered by a 7-run third inning and a record-setting eight errors committed by the Loggers en route the 15-3 final score.  The host team scored in every inning but two and totaled 13 hits on the night to improve to 3-1 on the young season.

The Loggers did pound out 11 hits on the night, led by three-hit nights from centerfielder Mike Nadratowski (Grand Valley State) and Cameron Balough (Judson).  Aaron Knapp (Cal) and Sulliam Rios Reyes (Kirkwood CC) also added a pair of safeties as well.

Loggers starter Ryan Deemes (Nicholls State) suffered the lost after going 2.1 innings, surrending eight runs (six earned) on five hits while walking two and striking out three.

With the loss the Loggers fell to 2-2 and now return back home to host the Green Bay Bullfrogs in a two-game weekend set beginning Saturday night at 6:05 p.m. at The Lumberyard.
