The La Crosse Loggers fell in the series finale Sunday night as the Green Bay Bullfrogs beat them 14-3 at Copeland Park.

The Bullfrogs got out to a big lead early as they scored five runs in the first inning.  The inning was interrupted four batters in as the game was delayed for thirty minutes due to rain.  The second batter of the game for Green Bay, catcher Jamie Ritchie, blasted a two-run homer to right-center field.  Later in the inning center fielder Ivan Vieitez scored on an throwing error by Loggers starter and Holmen native Ben Cejka (UW-La Crosse).  Dean Long would also score later in the inning on a Cejka wild pitch, and Ryan Koziol would later get bunted home by Bullfrog's second basemen Dennis Colon.

Cejka, who got the win in the series opener Tuesday night, was touched up in this one.  His final line was four innings pitched, nine runs (seven earned), on six hits, while walking six and striking out two.

The Bullfrogs would tack on a pair of runs in both the third and fourth innings to blow the game open.

All together, Loggers' pitchers struggled to find the strikezone.  They totaled twelve walks on the night and hit three Bullfrogs

Loggers' center fielder Mike Nadratowski (Grand Valley State) got the Lumbermen on the board by blasting a two-run home run to right center off Bullfrogs' starter Mike Ellenbest.  The Loggers would add their final run in the bottom of the sixth inning as right fielder Ryan Kirby (San Diego) slapped a single to center to score catcher Jerrod Bravo (Sacramento City CC).  .

The Loggers will try to snap a four-game losing streak as they kick off a two-game series and welcome the Wisconsin Woodchucks back to Copeland Park Monday night.  First pitch is slated for 7:05.
