The offense started in the second inning when Ryan Kirby (San Diego) belted a solo home run and his team leading third dinger of the year.  In the third, Nash Knight (Dallas Baptist) drove in a run by getting hit by a pitch from Green Bay starter, Zac Butler (Lincoln Memorial), with the bases loaded.

Catcher Austin Rei (Washington) would double home Kevin Zak (Grand Valley State) in the fifth, and later in the inning, Ryne Birk (Texas A&M) would hit a two-run home run to give the Loggers a 5-0 lead.

Finally in the seventh the Loggers would add on the their lead.  Kirby would double home Birk, and Jerrod Bravo (Sacramento City CC) would hit an RBI single to score Kirby.
