A go ahead RBI single from Karl Sorenson (St. Cloud State) in the bottom of the seventh inning was the game-winner for the Kalamazoo Growlers over the La Crosse Loggers Thursday night from Homer Stryker Field in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Sorenson also homered on the night for the Growlers and had four RBI to finish off his monster night.

The Loggers got three innings out of starter and newcomer, Steven Piette (Augsburg).  The righty gave up four runs on five hits.

The Loggers got a solo home run from Mike Nadratowski (Grand Valley State).  It was Nadratowski's fourth of the season.  La Crosse also got a three hit game from Nadratowski's collegiate teammate, Kevin Zak (Grand Valley State).

Reliever Jack Rogalla (Binghamton) took the loss for the Loggers but only gave up the lone run in three innings pitched.

La Crosse will finish their series in Kalamazoo against the Growlers on Friday night.  First pitch is scheduled for 6:05.
