The Loggers fell in the opener of a two-game series to the Green Bay Bullfrogs by a final score of 4-0 from Joannes Stadium in Green Bay.  

La Crosse was shutout by the Green Bay pitching staff which was led by starter Nathan Disch (Jacksonville State).  The righty went six innings, allowing just three hits and striking out eight.  

The Bullfrogs scored a pair of their runs off Loggers starter, Blake Stevens (Birmingham Southern).  In the third inning, Dean Long (Emporia State) scored on a Paul Jacobson (South Dakota State) sacrifice fly.  Then in the fourth inning, Ryan Koziol (Gulf Coast State College) would score on a double play.  

The Bullfrogs would get their next two runs off reliever Jacob Dorris (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi).  Matthew de la Rosa (Lenoir- Rhyne) would score on an RBI double from Ryan Howell (Chabot College).  Howell would later score on a Koziol putout.

The Loggers were lead offensively from All-Star, Ryne Birk (Texas A&M) who went 2-2, with two walks and a stolen base.  

The Loggers and Bullfrogs will conclude their two game series Friday night from Joannes Stadium, with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05.
