The La Crosse Loggers got a quality start from Friday's starter, Adam Cline (Columbia) and were able to get back on track and snap a six game losing streak by beating the Battle Creek Bombers to a final score of 8-4.

Cline went six innings, allowing two runs (earned) on just three hits, while walking one and striking out four.  It was the Sophomore's third win of the season.

La Crosse was lead offensively by Mike Nadratowski (Grand Valley State), who went 3-4 with two runs scored and an RBI, Aaron Knapp (Cal), who went 2-5 went a run scored and two RBI, and Nash Knight (Dallas Baptist), who went 2-5 with two RBI.

Reliever Mark Ecker (Texas A&M) was dominate in 2.1 innings, allowing no hits or walks and getting six of his seven outs via the strikeout.

La Crosse will now return home to Copeland Park and begin a four-game homestand with the Madison Mallards and Kalamazoo Growlers.  First, it's a two-game series with the Mallards starting Saturday night with first pitch being at 6:05.
