The Loggers lost their season finale to league rivals, the Lakeshore Chinooks, by a final score of 4-3 Sunday evening from the Lumberyard.  Before the game, the Loggers named their silver slugger and team MVP award to second baseman, Ryne Birk (Texas A&M), and the league named the team play-by-play radio aunnoucer of the year award to Loggers representative, Micah Schroeder.

La Crosse first scored in the bottom of the second inning, when Mike Nadratowski (Grand Valley State) scored on Lakeshore  catcher, Nic Barnes (UW-La Crosse) error.  The Loggers would add on to the their lead in the third when Aaron Knapp (California) scored on a Nash Knight (Dallas Baptist) putout.  Finally in the fourth, the Loggers would add their third run when Mitch Bevacqua (Washington) scored on a bases loaded walk by Knight.

Unfortunately, Zack Walsh (Valparaiso) would give up three runs in the top of the seventh inning to give Lakeshore the lead.  The Lakeshore bullpen would finish the game off to give the Loggers their last loss of the season.  The Logger will finish the overall 2014 season with a of 33-39 record.
