La Crosse Loggers shortstop Mason McCoy can now add another accolade to his long list of honors from this past summer as Perfect Game named him a first team summer collegiate all-American today when they released their annual list.
McCoy led the Northwoods League in hitting (.367) and broke single season league records in hits (112), total bases (168) and runs scored (80) along with setting new single season Logger marks in games (71), at-bats (305) and doubles (21 – tied Brock Lundquist).
McCoy is joined on the first team all-American list by fellow Northwoods Leaguers Lucas Raley (Lakeshore) and Reese Gregory (St. Cloud). The Northwoods League had eight players honored in all between the three all-American teams and honorable mention listings. The complete listing can be found HERE.
