A month of the 2016 collegiate baseball season has already been completed, and these Loggers have continued to play at their best:
Grant Fennell of Nevada was part of an offensive breakout against Washington on March 18 vs St Johns, going 3 for 4 with 4 runs batted in and a walk, while also scoring 2 runs himself.
Sal Biasi of Penn State was strong out of the bullpen in the first game of a doubleheader against Niagara on March 19, pitching 5 innings while giving up 0 runs on 3 hits and 5 strikeouts, with him also getting credit for the win.
Cullen Large of William & Mary has stayed consistent with driving runs in for the Tribe, leading his team with 16 runs batted in though last weekend’s action, including 4 against Norfolk State on March 15.
Cesar Salazar of Arizona is currently leading the Wildcats with a .373 batting average, with a 4 for 5 performance against Washington on March 20 the latest example of him being a tough out on a game-to-game basis.
