La Crosse, Wis. – Sixteen former La Crosse Loggers and one current Logger were selected during the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft that took place from June 9-11. Right-hander Mark Ecker from Texas A & M, a member of the 2014 and 2015 Loggers, was the highest pick amongst Logger alums going in the fifth round to the Detroit Tigers.

The La Crosse Loggers are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League is the proven leader in the development of elite college baseball players.
