La Crosse, Wisc.- The Loggers put together ten runs on fifteen hits in a offense friendly game in Copeland Park tonight.

The Loggers faced a familiar foe in the Rochester starting pitcher, Clayton McGinness (Wichita State). Clayton pitched six innings in a 9-3 win over the Lumbermen on June 5th. He held La Crosse to just four hits and had three strikeouts.

Cullen Large (William & Mary) brought Mason in with a single. Griffin Conine (Duke) hit a missile over the right field wall with Large on base for a two-run home run. Luke Farley (Iowa) added another later in the inning, putting La Crosse up 4-0 in the 1st inning.

Alex Fitchett (Hawaii) put Rochester on the board, scoring Miles Lewis (North Dakota) on a single to left field. The Honkers added another in the 5th inning, bringing the Logger lead to two.

Luke Farley came to the plate with one out in the bottom of the 5th after the first two batters of the inning reached on walks. He made the best of the opportunity by homering to deep left-center, returning La Crosse to a three-run lead.

The very next half inning, a costly error by Logger centerfielder Garrett Zech (South Florida) on groundball base hit with two on allowed both runners to score.

Both teams exchanged blows, leading to a five-run Logger lead to start the final frame. Graham Spraker (Quincy)
