Two walks loaded the bases after a one out single by Cullen Jozwiak (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi). Pat McInerney (Illinois) grounded to 3rd base, but a hard slide at 2nd base by Marty Bechina (Michigan State) forced an error on Logger 2nd baseman Justin Wylie. Garrett also saved the Logger lead when a Cullen Jozwiak single looked to be scoring the potential go-ahead run.
