LA CROSSE, Wis. — The La Crosse Loggers Baseball Club announced Friday that it will be hosting Lee Brice, featuring special guest Easton Corbin, for a special Summer Kickoff Concert to be held at the Copeland Park and Events Center on Sunday, May 27th, 2018. Local act Slow, No Wake will open the evening’s festivities, which start at 5 p.m., and the evening is presented by River Rats Bar & Grill , with media sponsors WXOW and Kicks 106.3.
Tickets are available for purchase now, with reserved grandstand seats starting at $35, stage front general admission seats priced at $40, and VIP ticket packages starting at $80.
This year’s headliner, Lee Brice, will take to the stage as the headliner for the May 27th, and will bring with him his extensive music library, including four solo albums and four songs that have charted at number one on Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay: “A Woman Like You”, “Hard to Love”, “I Drive Your Truck”, and “I Don’t Dance”. He has also charted within the top 10 with “Love Like Crazy”, “Parking Lot Party”, “Drinking Class”, and “That Don’t Sound Like You.” “Love Like Crazy” was the top country song of 2010 according to Billboard Year-End, and broke a 62-year-old record for the longest run on the country chart.
Besides his own material, he has co-written singles for Garth Brooks, Adam Gregory, Eli Young Band, and Tim McGraw. One of Brice’s compositions, Brooks’s “More Than a Memory”, was the first song ever to debut at number one on the country chart, while another, Eli Young Band’s “Crazy Girl”, was the Billboard Year-End top country song of 2011.
Easton Corbin released his self-titled debut album in 2010 and spawned back-to-back hits “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It;” making him the first country male artist in 17 years to have his first two consecutive singles reach No. 1. His 2012 sophomore album “All Over The Road” included the Top 5 hits “Lovin’ You Is Fun” and “All Over The Road.” Corbin set a career-best debut on Country Airplay with his top 5 hit single, “Baby Be My Love Song,” from his No. 1 debuting album “About To Get Real.” His latest single, “Are You With Me,” was most added song at country radio the day it was released. “Are You With Me” first appeared on “All Over The Road” and was such a special song to Corbin he carried it over to About To Get Real in hopes it would be a radio single. Corbin spent 2016 on one of the biggest tours in country music – Carrie Underwood’s The Storyteller Tour. Corbin is currently in the studio working on new music for his fourth studio album.
