LA CROSSE, Wis. — Led by starting pitcher Mitch Lines (Boise State), the La Crosse Loggers snapped their losing skid with a 5-1 win over the Rockford Rivets on Tuesday night at Copeland Park.

Rockford (8-6) scored first on an RBI groundout in the fourth inning, before the Loggers struck three times in the sixth inning. Austin Murr (NC State) and JT Thompson (Texas State) led off the bottom of the seventh with back-to-back doubles, and then Stinebiser added his second double of the night to drive in the Loggers’ final run.
