Loggers Fall to Larks, 9-7.

La Crosse dropped game-three in a tough battle in Bismarck last evening. On the hill for the Loggers, to start, was Carter Seabrooke (Howard CC). His outing was limited, only going 1.2 innings while allowing 2 earned runs. Later, the Larks had a big seventh inning against Grady Gorgen (Troy). Gorgen would take the loss, allowing 4 runs, only one of which was earned.

Daryl Ruiz (Cal State-San Bernardino) and Jackson Beaman (Missouri) gave the Lumberman pitching staff the most hassle, each recording multiple hits on the evening. Ruiz went 3-4 with 2 doubles and an RBI, while Beaman went 2-5 with a double.

Offensively for the Loggers, Coby Morales (Washington), Connor Walsh (Rice), and Aiden Sweatt (North Florida), all had big nights. Morales went 3-4 with a double and an RBI, Walsh went 2-4 with a couple RBIs, and Sweatt recorded 2 hits.

The Loggers will look to bounce back tonight, as they continue their four-game series against the Larks. The first pitch is scheduled for 5:35pm at Dakota Community Bank & Trust Field in Bismarck.
