In their first game back at Franklin Rogers Park after a 5 game road trip, the MoonDogs came out swinging and beat the Alexandria Beetles by a score of 4-2.

Jay Nessler got the MoonDogs on the board with a double in the bottom of the first inning. That was followed up by Aaron Moll, from the University of Cincinnati, who joined the MoonDogs on Monday, with a single up the middle in his first official at bat in the bottom of the first inning.

Shaun Corning looked strong going 5 2/3 striking out 6 before giving way to Ryan Hamilton who picked up the win and finished out the game striking out 5.

Wednesday will be a rematch of the same two teams at the Frank in Mankato, game time is 7:05 pm
