Beetles Beat Dogs

Last night at the Frank, Alexandria Beetles veteran pitcher, Marc Craigmile, proved to be an enigma for the MoonDogs hitters for the first 5 innings of the game. The MoonDogs tried to rally but every attempt was thwarted by the Beetles defense. Alexandria won by a score of 3-1.

Will Krout threw another outstanding game, going 8 innings giving up only 2 earned runs, the first 2 in his 17 innings pitched this season.

Aaron Moll continued to prove his worth with the MoonDogs going 3 for 4 in the game. He has provided the team with a spark on the offensive side and also showed his defensive skills earning an outfield assist in the game as well.

Thursday night’s game will be the fourth meeting between these two teams in the last 4 days. The MoonDogs will return home for a game Friday night against Waterloo, before leaving on a 3-day road trip.
