Traveling to Canada for the first time in the team’s history, the MoonDogs lost to the Thunder Bay BorderCats, 3-0.

A trend has been noticed throughout the League where the opposing team drops the first game in Thunder Bay, speculating that the significant amount of travel plays a roll in the outcome of the game.

The trend continued, as the MoonDogs were unable to figure out Thunder Bay pitcher Andy Kreidermacher, who threw a complete game 4 hit shutout against the Dogs.

Matt McColgan had 2 hits in the game, including a double.

The MoonDogs play the BorderCats again tonight before leaving for Duluth on Wednesday Night.
