It didn’t take the MoonDogs long to get on the board last night as the first 3 batters of the game reached base safely and then up to the plate walked Jeremiah "The Bullfrog"Piepkorn.

Piepkorn blasted a grand slam with no one out to put the MoonDogs up 4-0 and that would be all they would need to win tonight’s game. It was the first homerun hit by a MoonDog this year at the Frank.

Overall the ‘Dogs put up 7 runs on 10 hits as they went on to win the game 7-2. Piepkorn had 6 RBI in the game.

Ryan Chiarelli had an explosive game going 4 for 5 with a triple.

Shaun Corning got the win as he went 5 innings allowing only 2 runs, 1 was unearned. Rick Cavaiani came in for relief and Travis Johnson finished out the game.

The sweep of St. Cloud helps the MoonDogs climb back in the race for first and they look to continue their winning tonight @ 6:05 against the Thunder Bay Border Cats.
