The road trip started a little rough for the MoonDogs as they lost the first game of the trip 6-0.

Border Cats pitcher Eric Wordekemper proved to be an unsolvable puzzle for the MoonDogs hitters as he scattered just 4 hits over 7 innings.

Ryan Chiarelli continued to stay hot as he picked up 2 of the 4 hits for the ‘Dogs.

Clay Tichota picked up the loss for the MoonDogs before being knocked out in the 7th.

Tonight is a rematch between the same two teams before the MoonDogs leave for Duluth on Thursday.
