In the last game of their 6-game road trip, the MoonDogs were unable to hold off a late inning rally by the Honkers, losing 5-3.

Offensively hitting was contagious as the MoonDogs pounded out 10 hits in the game, with all but 1 position player getting a hit in the game. Jeremiah Piepkorn launched his 5th home run of the season and 2nd in 2 games, as he and Aaron Grant each had 2 hits in the game.

Brent Jackson held the Honkers off through 4.2 innings before giving way to Rick Cavaiani. Cavaiani picked up the loss.

The MoonDogs play Alexandria tonight returning to the Frank for game 1 of a 3 game homestand.
