The MoonDogs bounced back after Friday nights loss behind a once again, dominating performance from All-Star pitcher Will Krout. Krout threw his 5th complete game of the season, which leads the league, going the distance giving up only 1 earned run, although the Beetles did score 6 in the game. The MoonDogs won 8-6 and in the process Krout lowered his ERA to a mere 1.26 on the season.

The offense that had been lacking lately disappeared as extra base hits became contagious in the game. Jonny Ash, Jay Nessler, Aaron Moll, and Ritchie Price all doubled in the game. Catcher Chris Baso hit his first triple of the year, and speaking of firsts, Aaron Grant hit his first home run of the year.

With their outburst, the MoonDogs handed Beetles pitcher Jesse Ingram his first loss of the season, knocking him out of the game in the 6th inning.

The MoonDogs return home tonight against the Duluth Huskies at 6:05, and again tomorrow night at 7:05.
