Last night in St. Cloud, the MoonDogs were beaten 12-6 in front of 1900 people. They dug themselves into a hole early in the game and were never really able to get out. The River Bats scored all 12 of their runs in just 3 innings: 3 in the first, 5 in the 4th and 4 in the 5th.

Outfielder Aaron Moll and infield Mike Dudley each had 2 hits in the game. The MoonDogs also saw pitcher Tom Metzer see his first action in the Northwoods League, as he was just signed on Wednesday. Metzger struck out 2 of the 4 hitters he faced.

Next up for the Dogs are the River Bats once again, as the Dogs try and make a run for the playoffs. They return home Monday night for a doubleheader with Madison. 1st game starts at 6:05.
