Warren Rosebrock finally broke through against Alexandria his third time around, as the MoonDogs snapped their 4-game losing streak, beating the Beetles 6-2.

Alexandria scored one run their first time up, but the MoonDogs erupted for four runs in their half of the second inning. Barret Rice provided the damage as his double produced three runs off of Beetles starter Mike Krebs.

The MoonDogs tacked on two more runs in the top of third inning to drive Krebs out of the game. In just 2.1 innings, Krebs gave up six runs on four hits, and walked three MoonDogs.

Alexandria scored one more run in the eighth inning to finish the scoring.

Rosebrock threw six innings of three hit ball, giving up just one run and struck out six on his way to his first win of the season.

Rice finished the game 2-4 with a double, three RBI, and a run scored.

The MoonDogs will play again tonight in Alexandria before returning home to Mankato. The North Division leading St. Cloud River Bats will be in town for a two game series Friday (June 25) and Saturday (June 26) night. Friday night will be "Christmas in June” as Christmas will be exactly six months away. Saturday night is Budweiser’s Summertime St. Patty’s Day.
