For the fourth time this season, and the third time at home, the MoonDogs game was cancelled due to rain. Monday evening’s scheduled contest between the Mankato MoonDogs and Madison Mallards will be made up as part of a double header on Tuesday, July 6, starting at 6:05 p.m.

Tuesday’s games will be comprised of two seven-inning games, with the first pitch at 6:05 p.m. and the second game commencing 20 minutes after the first game is completed.

Tuesday is also Mankato MoonDogs Logo Baseball Night presented by Minnstar Bank, where the first 400 fans 16 and under will receive a free logo baseball. The balls will be given away when the gates open for the first game at 5:05 p.m.

Also, due to the rain on Monday, nearly 150 full-size Louisville Slugger baseball bats, compliments of The Home Depot and 93 KXLP, still remain and will be given out free to the first 150 kids 14 and under on Friday, July 9th. Friday’s game time is 7:05 p.m. with the gates opening at 6:05.

Friday Night is also "Twin Valley Council Boy Scout Night,” where all scouts are invited to camp in the outfield with the MoonDogs following the game.

Tickets for all MoonDogs home games can be purchased at either Hy-Vee location or the MoonDogs ticket office located at 310 Belle Ave. Call 507-625-7047 to reserve your seat for MoonDogs Baseball.
