The Big Dog’s Coming Home!

The Mankato MoonDogs Baseball Club, a member of the Northwoods League, is proud to announce the promotions for the first four games of the upcoming six game home stand starting July 27th and ending August 2nd. With just 10 home games left in the regular season, the MoonDogs are looking to go out with a bang as there are exciting activities and promotions scheduled for each game during the six game home stand. Every game is important now as the MoonDogs are just two games behind the 1st place Thunder Bay Border Cats and 7-5 during the second half of the season.

Blue Earth County Library Night and Twins Night!
Wednesday, July 27th, 7:05 p.m.
Mankato MoonDogs Vs Thunder Bay Border Cats
The first place Thunder Bay Border Cats come to town in what may end up being the deciding series for both teams in determining their playoff fates. July 27th marks the Blue Earth County Library Night and Twins Night which was rained on June 20th. In attendance for "Twins Night” will be Twins Mascot TC Bear, the Twins very own organist and Wally "The Beerman” along with the headliner for the night, former Minnesota Twins World Series Champion, Tim Laudner! TC Bear will join Muttnik in all of his antics on and off the field. The Twins organist will take fans back to a time when organs provided the only music at a baseball game. Making his second appearance of the year after selling "The Frank” out of beer on opening night, Wally "The Beerman” will walk the stands yelling those famous words "beer here”! Lastly, Tim Laudner, a member of the 1987 World Champion Minnesota Twins will grace Franklin Rogers Park with his presence by signing autographs and interacting with fans!

Thursday, July 28th, 7:05 p.m.
Mankato MoonDogs Vs Thunder Bay Border Cats
Come to "The Frank” for game two of the ever important series against the Thunder Bay Border Cats and for the 3rd annual Baseball Give-Away presented by MinnStar Bank! The first 400 kids in attendance age 16 years and under will receive a free MoonDogs logo baseball!

Twin Valley Council Boy Scout Night!
Friday, July 29th, 7:05 p.m.
Mankato MoonDogs Vs Waterloo Bucks
After the game, all scouts are invited to camp in the outfield of Franklin Rogers Park with the MoonDogs players. Not only that, but the MoonDogs will also provide the scouts entertainment with a movie to watch as they camp!

Kids Night Presented by Subway!
Saturday, June 30th, 7:05 p.m.
Mankato MoonDogs Vs Waterloo Bucks
It’s the MoonDogs last game against the South Division as the ‘Dogs let the kid’s take over Franklin Rogers Park for Kids Night! Also, the first 500 kids ages 14 and under will receive a free MoonDogs Kickball courtesy of Subway! After the game kids will be allowed to go out onto the field and run the bases!
