(Mankato, MN) –The Mankato MoonDogs Baseball Club, a member of the Northwoods League, is proud to announce Jeremy Sullivan as the new assistant general manager. Sullivan, a former media relations intern from the 2004 season, is excited to be back and will bring a professional sports background to the front office.

"It’s a great accomplishment to be back with the MoonDogs and the Mankato community,” Sullivan said. "Joe and Kyle run a great organization and know how to be successful. After being away for two years, I realized how much I enjoy the league, fans, and especially the atmosphere.”

"We’re excited to bring back a past intern who has already experienced a summer with the MoonDogs,” said MoonDogs General Manager Kyle Mrozek. "Jeremy’s attitude, energy and work ethic will be a great fit for the office.”

After the 2004 season, Sullivan graduated from Bemidji State University and accepted a job from the Minnesota Timberwolves, a member of the National Basketball Association, as inside sales executive. His successful stint with the Timberwolves allowed him to experience sports marketing and sales on a professional level.

"Working for the Timberwolves was a great eye opening experience. I learned first-hand how professional teams operate and look forward to applying those methods to the MoonDogs,” Sullivan said.

The MoonDogs home opener is set for Friday, June 1st against the Rochester Honkers. The full 2007 MoonDogs schedule will be released soon. Included this year is the 13th annual Northwoods League All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 11. If you don’t want to miss the action, season tickets are on sale now as well as group and hospitality tickets.
