(Mankato, MN) –The Mankato MoonDogs Baseball Club, a member of the Northwoods League, is proud to announce Kelcey Woods-Nord as the new ticket sales and marketing manager. Woods-Nord, a former intern from the 2006 season, looks forward to the full-time role and is eager to integrate new methods into the MoonDogs front office.

"With being an intern last season, I’m excited to continue my career with the MoonDogs,” Woods-Nord said. "I thoroughly enjoyed my internship during the 2006 season and am eager to expand my role in the front office. I’m especially looking forward to bringing the Mankato community a sensational 2007 Northwoods League All-Star game.”

Since the All-Star Game is in Mankato this summer, Woods-Nord will be a welcome addition to the MoonDogs front office. In addition to ticket sales, she will assist in the development and production of the Northwoods League All-Star Game and help expand the MoonDogs market outside of the Mankato area. With her enthusiasm and professionalism, the MoonDogs look forward to developing and sustaining new relationships outside of Mankato.

"The MoonDogs are excited to bring back Kelcey as a member of our front office this season,” said Kyle Mrozek, MoonDogs General Manager. "Kelcey brings a great deal of enthusiasm and a great work ethic, as well as a full season of work experience from her 2006 stint as an intern.”

After the 2006 season, Woods-Nord graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Previously, she attended Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN and earned her A.A. Degree in 2004.

The MoonDogs are anxiously awaiting the start of the 2007 season on May 31 against the Rochester Honkers. Check back soon as the MoonDogs will begin to announce player signings for the upcoming year.
