(Mankato, MN) – The Mankato MoonDogs Baseball Club, a member of the Northwoods League, will be hosting the Meet the MoonDogs Dinner on Wednesday, May 30. The event will take place at Best Western, located at 1111 Range Street, in Mankato at 6 pm. Tickets for the event can be purchased at the MoonDogs ticket office in advance or at the door.

The Meet the MoonDogs Dinner will feature a chance to meet the players, coaches, and the MoonDog mascot, Muttnik. MoonDogs Owner Joe Schwei, General Manager Kyle Mrozek, and Manager Jason Nell will speak, while players will sit with those attending the dinner, offering everyone a chance to spend time with new and returning MoonDogs players. There will be fun games for kids to participate in and the chance for them to play with Muttnik.

The MoonDogs Home Opener is set for June 1, 2007 against the defending Northwoods League champion, Rochester Honkers. Mankato will also be the host of the 13th annual Northwoods League All-Star Game on July 11, 2007.
