(Mankato, MN)—After Northwoods League fans and teams have waited over nine and a half months for baseball, they’ll have to wait at least one more night. Tonight’s 2008 season opener in Rochester between the Mankato MoonDogs and Rochester Honkers has been cancelled due to rain.

Both teams will try again tomorrow night (May 30) in Mankato for the MoonDogs 2008 home opener. Former Minnesota Twin Jim "Mudcat” Grant will be on hand to sign autographs and throw out the first pitch. Gates open at 6:05 PM with first pitch at 7:05 PM.
