(Mankato, MN) MoonDogs starter Blake DeVries (Concordia-St. Paul) pitched five great innings of baseball and center fielder Michael Rockett (Texas-San Antonio) went 3-for-5 with a triple and four runs batted in as the Mankato MoonDogs defeated the Brainerd Blue Thunder 10-2 for their fourth straight win overall and their seventh straight win on the road.

DeVries allowed two runs on two hits, walked five, and struck out six in his five innings of work before giving way to Jimmy Dale (MSU-Mankato) who did not allow a Brainerd base runner in his four innings of work.

The MoonDogs now head back to Mankato and will start a four-game home stand. Tuesday’s game will be played against the Waterloo Bucks and the first pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm.
