(Mankato, MN) – The Mankato MoonDogs Baseball Club, a member of the Northwoods League, is proud to announce that former Northwoods Leaguer and current Minnesota Twins relief pitcher Pat Neshek will be on-hand for Minnesota Twins Night presented by KTOE tonight (July 16) at Franklin Rogers Park. Neshek will begin signing autographs when gates open at 6:05 PM.

With his unique sidearm delivery, Neshek has turned into one of the most dominating relief pitchers in all of Major League Baseball. Last season he appeared in 74 games and finished with a 7-2 record with 74 strike outs in 70 1/3 innings and an incredible 0.183 opponent batting average.

A sixth round pick by the Minnesota Twins in 2002, Neshek is now in his third season with the Minnesota Twins. Neshek appeared in 15 games this year when his season was cut short in Chicago, IL due to a partially torn right elbow ligament.

Neshek, who graduated from Park Center High School in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, played in the Northwoods League for the Wisconsin Woodchucks in 2000. He went 4-5 with a 3.23 ERA for the Woodchucks.

Tickets are available for tonight and the rest of the season by calling the MoonDogs Ticket Office at 507-625-7047 or at both Mankato Hy-Vee locations. For more information, please visit www.mankatomoondogs.com.
