Mankato, Minn. – The Mankato MoonDogs season is winding down, but there are still several great giveaways and promotions lined up. In addition to the regularly scheduled promotions, MoonDogs will also be giving away free T-shirts to the first 500 fans that come through the gates for the first home playoff game, which will be held on August 11th or 12th.

On Monday August 3rd the MoonDogs, along with Capstone Publishing, will be celebrating Back to School Night by giving away free books to the first 400 kids. In addition to that, NASCAR super star Greg Biffle’s car will be on display in the concourse throughout the game. Fans will be able to take a look around the interior, take pictures and get to see an actual NASCAR automobile all night long.

On Tuesday August 4th, the MoonDogs and Sport Pix will be giving out the 2009 MoonDog team poster. The first 750 fans, young and old alike, will receive a free MoonDog poster of this year’s squad.

In addition to those exciting giveaways, the MoonDogs are pleased to announce that they will be having their second free T-shirt giveaway of the season. The first 500 fans through the gates for the first home playoff game will receive the T-shirt. The date for the playoff game is yet to be determined, but will be held on either August 11th or August 12th at 7:05 p.m.

Gates will open at 6:05 for all the remaining MoonDog games at Franklin Rogers Park. Fans, be sure to get there early as the giveaway items will be going quick.
