The North division led 5-2 before allowing the South to tie the game in the bottom of the sixth inning. The surge wasn?t enough as the North plated two more runs in the top of the seventh inning to take the victory.

Jordan Steranka (Penn State) played the entire game for the North Division at third base while collecting two hits and scoring two runs in five trips to the plate. Robbie Robinson (Valparaiso) started the game at catcher before coming out in the bottom of the 5th inning. Robinson reached base during all three trips to the dish, with a single and two walks.

The Mankato MoonDogs are back on the road Thursday when they take on Rochester before returning home to play the Honkers Friday night. Friday will also see the return of the ZOOperstars to The Frank presented by Minnesota Valley Federal Credit Union and KEYC!
