MANKATO-Minn. The Mankato MoonDogs Baseball Organization, a member of the Northwoods League is happy to invite fans to join the MoonDogs for a Sunday worship service on Father’s Day, June 15th at 10am. The service will be held on the field and all are welcome to join this brand new, exciting event! Tickets will be $6 and an all you can eat buffet will be available after the service for an additional $6.00.

Also, $3.00 from every ticket purchased will be donated to the MoonDogs Tickets for Kids program and we will be raising funds for the Back Pack Food Program as well. After the service at the park, we encourage you to stay and watch your Mankato MoonDogs take on the Thunder Bay Border Cats at 12:05pm.

Sunday service is a non- denominational worship service and anyone is welcome to join. The MoonDogs Organization is very excited to host this event for the first time.

The Mankato MoonDogs are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 21st season of summer collegiate baseball, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 115 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (DET) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Allen Craig (STL) and Ben Zobrist (TB).
