MANKATO-Minn. The Mankato MoonDogs Baseball Club, a member of the Northwoods League is happy to announce a number of exciting promotions coming up at Franklin Rogers Park. Fans are encouraged to come out to the park and join the fun!
When the MoonDogs return home on June 24th, we will be having Minnesota Twins Night presented by KTOE. There will be a chance to win tickets to the MLB All-Star Game in Minnesota as well as player/alumni and Twins Mascot TC Bear will be on hand along with Sue Nelson, the Twins organist. Make sure to come out in your best Minnesota Twins gear!
June 26th is Wine, Women, and Baseball Night which will feature a diamond giveaway to one lucky lady, presented by Save Mor Jewelry, Chankaska Creek Ranch & Winery and Minnesota 93.
June 27th is our full sized bay giveaway presented by KXLP. The first 400 kids in attendance to the game will receive a full sized MoonDogs bat.
June 28th The MoonDogs will be helping to raise breast cancer awareness by wearing pink jerseys and hats that will be auctioned off throughout the night with proceeds going to a local Susan G. Komen team.
June 29th Bring your stomach ready to eat some of Mankato’s best barbeque. It’s the Dickey’s Barbeque Eating Contest. Also, it’s faith night at the Frank.
June 30th Dress as your favorite comic book hero and help us celebrate Mankato’s finest safety heroes. Kids will have the chance to meet the MoonDogs very own cast of comic book super heroes as well.
July 3rd Come dressed in red, white, and blue and celebrate America’s birthday with us at the Frank.
Other season promotional highlights include a Fireworks Extravaganza on July 11th, Dollar Dog Night on July 16th, and Minnesota Vikings Night on August 1st. Also, we are excited to announce the Zooperstars National Entertainment Act will be coming to the Frank this year, despite the rain postponed game earlier this week. You can see them in action on August 3rd as the MoonDogs will also be hosting Military Appreciation Night on the same day.
