"Synek was off to a great start to his senior year at Evansville before an unfortunate injury caused him to have to medical redshirt this season," said Field Manager Ryan Day. "Boomer is a key returner off last years team that made it to the Summer Collegiate World Series.”
In 2015, for the Purple Aces, prior to his injury, he appeared in 15 games, all starts, with ten RBI, one triple and five doubles, while hitting .288.

"He is going to provide the MoonDogs with yet another athletic infielder that can run and do a lot of different things for the offense, whether its start an inning or drive in some runs."
