MANKATO, MN—The Mankato MoonDogs, a member of the Northwood’s League, have been forced to reschedule their game tonight vs. the Rochester Honkers. After much deliberation by the umpires, it was decided field conditions were unsafe for playing.

The game is now being held on Wednesday evening as part of a double-header vs. Rochester. The first game will start at 6:05 p.m. with the second following 30 minutes after the completion of the first. Each game will be only 7 innings in length.

Tickets for tonight’s game are redeemable for any other home game on the MoonDogs’ schedule. Terry Steinbach as well as the post-game fireworks will be rescheduled to a later date.

The MoonDogs are currently 3-0 on the season and are travelling to Duluth to take on the Huskies over the next two days.

The MoonDogs’ home opener is now set for Monday at 7:05 p.m. vs. the Willmar Stingers at Franklin Rogers Park. Season and single game tickets are now on sale, call 507-625-7047 or visit the MoonDogs’ office at 1221 Caledonia Street in Mankato for more information.
