MANKATO- Minn. LOOKING TO MAKE SOME EXTRA CASH THIS SEASON? The Mankato MoonDogs’ would like to announce the Game-Day-Staff openings for the upcoming season! If you are interested, the following short descriptions explain the remaining openings:

Video Producer:

The person who fills this position must have an intermediate to advanced knowledge of computers, and ideally video equipment. You will be in the Press Box with a seasoned professional who knows the ropes of producing the webcast for our online viewers!

  • Will report to Video Director
  • Must be available for 10+ games
  • Will stay for the entire game
  • Will need to be available 1 hour before the start of each game. 
  • Looking for 1 person to fill this position (based on availability)

Video Camera Operator:

This position has to have no prior knowledge of operating a camera, but needs to be adaptable, and will report to the Video Director.

  • Must be available for 25+ games
  • Will stay for the entire game
  • Will need to be available 45 minutes before the start of each game
  • Looking for 3-5 people to fill this position (based on availability)

Mascot:

The MoonDogs would love an animated and energetic personality to be our mascot, Muttnik for many games and community appearances (based on your availability). Visit the crowd and be involving in our exciting in-game promotions!

  • Must be available for 20+ games
  • Will stay through 8th inning
  • Will need to be available 30 minutes before the start of each game
  • Looking for 1-2 people to fill this position (based on availability)

Ticket-Takers:

The MoonDogs want your upbeat personality to be the first face that our fans see when they walk through the gates of Franklin Rogers Park!

  • Must be available for 20+ games
  • Will stay through 4th inning
  • Will need to be available 1 hour and 15 minutes before the start of the game (so you’re there when the gates open an hour before the game)
  • Looking for 1-2 people to fill this position (based on availability)

Ushers:

Have experience with Guest Service? Ushers are stationed within the grandstand to show fans to their seats based on their seat placement.

  • Must be available for 20+ games
  • Will stay through 5th inning
  • Will need to be available 1 hour and 15 minutes before the start of the game (so you’re there when the gates open an hour before the game)
  • Looking for 3-5 people to fill this position (based on availability)

In addition to being paid as a MoonDogs employee, you will receive a free meal on the MoonDogs each night you work!
