Nothing better than a Wisconsin boy spending his summers in Minnesota! We bring in Donavan Schultz who pitches at the University of Evansville. Schultz originally from Kimberly, Wisconsin pitches from the left side. The south paw this season has 28 strikeouts to 16 walks. He also has appeared in 11 games throwing 35 innings over those games. Donavan will be going from an Ace to a Dog!
Every pitcher has to have his own backstop right? Well if we bring one Ace, we might as bring them all! Brendan Hord is introduced to the roster, he to coming from the University of Evansville. Hord this season batted .250 with 4 bombs and 27 RBIS. Hord threw out 5 batters this year too! Welcome the Kentucky boy to Minnesota.
To round it out for the Opening Day Roster is the North Alabama product in Dominick McIntyre. McIntyre is a teammate of fellow MoonDog John Lundgren on the Lions! McIntyre this season had 10 RBIs in 39 game played! He also is one of the few Dogs on the roster who had a triple for his college team. Dominick was one of the better fielders on the Lions, only having two errors all season! Make sure to cheer on this Lion loudly at ISG Field Monday!
