Kolby Kiser took the mound for the MoonDogs ready to put the Hot Tots in their place after they stole one from the MoonDogs the last time they came to town.

Kiser made quick work of the first and second inning snagging three strike outs his first time through the line up. Kiser would find himself in trouble during the third after loading the bases with two outs. Ariel Armas would come out to talk him down before Kiser would shut it down and walk out of the inning unscathed.

Kiser would continue to power his way through the line up making it through the sixth inning recording nine strikeouts.

Caleb Strack would come in during the seventh inning and went three up and three down to move the MoonDogs into a must score situation.

Brody Harding would start the inning with a walk followed by Joe Hauser walking as well. Angelo Aleman would put down a textbook bunt advancing the runners. The Hot Tots 3rd baseman would make a devastating throw over to 1st to get Aleman out missing the mark allowing Harding to score.

Dustin Crenshaw would make his way to the plate and draw the third walk of the inning. Kip Fougerousse would make his impact on the game as he lasered one into the gap. Moving Crenshaw into scoring position and driving in two runs. Brenden Hord would look to break the inning open with a deep shot that would push Crenshaw in for a four-run inning.

Strack would continue to pitch for the MoonDogs as they would attempt to cruise to a win. Strack would catch himself in a tough position facing the tying batter in the top of the ninth. The MoonDogs would hold on and secure the win 4-1 in a series they need to win. Join us tomorrow as the same two teams square off for the rematch at ISG Field.
