DICKINSON, N.D. – The MoonDogs traveled to face off against the Badlands Big Sticks for the second game of the series tonight.

The Big Sticks struck first, scoring one run in the first inning.

The MoonDogs would rally in the second, with an RBI double from Mikey Valdivia (Minnesota State University) to score two runs. They overtook the lead 2-1.

Three scoreless innings followed before the Badlands tied the score 2-2 in the bottom of the sixth.

Mankato scored in the seventh on an RBI single from Evan Saunders (Wichita State University), taking the lead back 3-2.

The dominance continued with four more runs scored in the eighth, including an RBI double by Sean Griggs (Monmouth University).

The MoonDogs will return to ISG Field tomorrow, as they will host the Rochester Honkers. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:35 pm.
