Waterloo, Iowa- After a much needed day off Wednesday, the Mankato MoonDogs looked like a team on a mission, routing the second place Waterloo Bucks 11-3 Thursday night at Riverfront Stadium.

Trailing 2-1 with two outs in the top of the 4th inning, Chris Munoz (Oklahoma City) smacked a bases loaded double to right-field, driving in three runs to give Mankato a 4-2 lead. The round-tripper was Munoz fourth homerun this season, all of which have been two-run shots.

Eight of the nine MoonDogs batters collected a hit Thursday night, five of which had multiple hits. John Michael Twichell (Texas-Arlington) went 4-for-5 at the plate with three runs scored. Munoz finished his day 3-for-5 with five RBI.
