Duluth, MN – Kaden Moore homered as part of a night where he would collect three RBIs to help propel Mankato to a 6-2 win over Duluth at Wade Stadium on Monday night.

The Duluth Huskies loaded the bases in the bottom of the ninth inning with one out with Sam Myers on the mound for the Mankato MoonDogs.  Alex Greene would come up to the place and tap the ball back to Myers, who would initiate a 1-2-3 double play to end the game and get the MoonDogs a 6-2 win, sweeping Duluth for the second time this season.

Mankato would score in five different innings on a night where the MoonDogs would rake 11 hits a night after posting 15. Kaden Moore had a great night at the plate going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and one run scored, a stat line that would include a solo home run in the fourth inning, his fourth of the year.

Brett Clark (4-0) earned his fourth win of the season, allowing two runs on seven hits without issuing a walk while striking out five Huskies. Mitch Bauer (0-1) was charged with the loss, allowing three runs over 5 1/3 innings to go along with five hits and four walks.
