The Mankato MoonDogs are proud to announce four additions to the 2018 roster:

Jack Zigan

Jack Zigan (RHP), a freshman from Cal Poly, is returning home to Minnesota to play for the MoonDogs.  Originally from Eden Prairie, Zigan led his high school squad to a state championship, with a three-hit complete game to clinch the title.  During his senior year, Zigan compiled 90 strikeouts over 73.2 innings, and was named to the All-Lake Conference first team.

Austin Chauvin

Austin Chauvin (INF), a redshirt junior from St. Mary’s, came to the Gaels from San Ramon, CA.  Chauvin has a .269 batting average over his college career.  After missing most of 2016 with an injury, Chauvin came back in 2017 and set career highs in almost every category.  His success has carried over into 2018, where he is on pace to surpass those numbers.

Blaze Glenn

Blaze Glenn (INF/OF), a sophomore from Youngstown St., is a transfer from Sinclair Community College.  In his season with the Tartan Pride, Glenn hit .393 and helped lead his team to a regular season championship.  Glenn holds his Toronto, OH high school’s record for career batting average at .583.  He was awarded First Team All-State three times and State Player of the Year twice.

Roger Danison

Roger Danison, a junior, who is both a pitcher and outfielder for Xavier, will come to the Mankato to pitch.  Originally from Carroll, OH, Danison won a state championship with his Bloom-Carroll club and was an All-State selection.
