Rochester, MN - Former Alexandria Beetle Marcus Semien was called up by the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday, September 3. Semien is the 115th former Northwoods League player to reach the Major League level.

The owners of the Northwoods League’s newest franchise, Kenosha Baseball, announced that Jake McGhee has been named the club’s first General Manager. McGhee will start immediately at the office at historic Simmons Field in Kenosha.
