MoonDogs Score Record 27 Runs
Rochester, Minn (August 3rd, 2013)--The Mankato MoonDogs set a Northwoods League record with 27 runs scored in their game against the Thunder Bay Border Cats on Saturday. They accomplished the feat in front of their home crowd and collected 21 hits and 12 walks.

A former Huskie and a former River Bat are called up to the Show
Rochester, MN - Former Duluth Huskie Cody Asche was called up by the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday, July 30. Asche is the 107th former Northwoods League player to reach the Major League level. Former St. Cloud River Bat Roger Kieschnick was also called up on Tuesday. Kieschnick, the 108th former Northwoods League player to reach the Major Leagues, was promoted by the San Francisco Giants.
