Former Mankato MoonDog Sean Halton was called up by the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday. Halton is the 104th former Northwoods League player to reach the major league level.

Rochester, Minn (June 27th, 2013)--Wednesday night's Northwoods action was very close, but it could be argued that Thursday's was even closer. The tight, action-packed contests are building towards a strong finish for the first half of the season.

Rochester, Minn (June 25th, 2013)--Offensive outbursts have been a bit of a theme for the clubs in the Northwoods League this season. Tuesday's action featured two incredible feats: a 17-10 game and a game where one team scored 24 runs.

Former Battle Creek catcher Tony Sanchez was called up by the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday. Sanchez is the 103rd former Northwoods League player to reach the major league level.

Rochester, Minn (June 24th, 2013)--Many Northwoods League teams enjoyed a much-needed night off on Monday. Those that did play made sure that fans were plenty entertained.

Rochester, Minn (June 23rd, 2013)--As the weekend came to an end, extra baseball was in store as three of the seven games on the slate were decided in extras.
