Game-Day Staff: (Part Time)
The Rockford Rivets are looking for qualified, customer service oriented, and outgoing individuals to work at Historic Simmons Field during the 2023 season. We ask that you complete our online form. Each summer the Rivets employ over 100 part-time staff for various roles around the ballpark. Below is a list of game-day positions along with a short description of the duties and responsibilities pertinent to each role. If interested, please fill out the application above.

The positions we are looking to fill may include:
Kids Zone (please forward resume to awallace@rockfordrivets.com)– Interacts with younger Rivets fans and provide them with a positive experience. Kid Zone employees are in charge of maintaining game safety and monitoring the inflatables (bounce house. speed pitch and batting practice) and other games.
Concourse Servers and Bartenders (please forward resume to awallace@rockfordrivets.com)– Provide service to the concourse table customers, including but not limited to; preparing the tables with food and beverage for the event, waiting on the table the whole night, and providing a positive experience for all members of the group. Servers and Bartenders must be, at least, 18 years of age and have an outgoing personality!
Concessions (please forward resume to awallace@rockfordrivets.com)– Employees hold various roles throughout the ballpark in food and beverage areas. Employees must provide excellent customer service, display an understanding of food and beverage options within a designated area, and closely follow the health and sanitation guidelines set forth by the Rivets. Available positions include:
- Food & Beverage Supervisor
- Fryers
- Grillers
- Runners
- Cashiers
- Dishwashers
