The La Crosse Loggers were swept Friday night at Joannes Stadium in Green Bay by the Bullfrogs, by a final score of 10-8.  The loss is now the team's 13th in the last 15 games.

The Bullfrogs would take the lead in a three run 1st inning off newly acquired Logger, Kelvin Pilot (Mesa CC).  Pilot would last four innings giving up eight runs (five earned), on seven hits, while walking two, and striking out two.

The Loggers would rally back in the top of the second on a Luke Persico (UCLA) solo home run, an Adrian Chacon (North Carolina) RBI single, and a Mike Nadratowski (Grand Valley State) sacrifice fly.

Green Bay, however, would score two more in the bottom of the second, and three in the bottom of the third to take a 8-3 lead.

The Loggers would rally again though in the top of the fourth to tie the game at 8-8 with a five run inning.  It started with a Kevin Zak (Grand Valley State) two-run RBI double to score Mitch Bevacqua (Washington) and Brody Weiss (UC-Santa Barbara).  Then Ryne Birk (Texas A&M) would hit a three-run home run to tie the game at eight.

The Bullfrogs would take the lead for good in the bottom of the seventh when they scored two runs off reliever Mark Ecker (Texas A&M). Matt Beaty (Belmont) would score Paul Jacobson (South Dakota State) on a fielder's choice.  Franco Guardascione (Palm Beach State College) would then score on a passed ball to give Green Bay the 10-8 lead for good.

The loss now drops La Crosse to 28-28 overall and is their seventh loss in a row.

La Crosse will return home to take on the Willmar Stingers Saturday night.  First pitch is scheduled for 6:05.
